Director, Supply Chain Finance

Utz Quality Foods is seeking a Director, Supply Chain Finance to join our team in Hanover, PA. Reporting to the Sr. Director, Supply Chain Finance will lead all financial activities for key supply chain functions with a focus on the Utz Hanover Manufacturing network. The role will be responsible for managing the Finance Analysts supporting multiple plants. This position will serve as a thought leader who provides recommendations necessary to make critical business decisions. The Director will partner with all levels of the organization to drive cost savings and maximize efficiencies across the supply chain. This position is responsible for coaching and developing members of the Supply Chain Finance team in order to create a high-performing team with best in class analytical skills.

Candidates must have 10+ years of progressive experience in supply chain finance within a manufacturing environment and a bachelor's degree in finance, business, or supply chain. Candidates should have a proven knowledge of financial accounting standards and supply chain processes, including a working understand of a standard costing environment. Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work across business functions is crucial to success in this role.

Director, Supply Chain Finance:



  • Partner with cross-functional leaders of Manufacturing and other key Supply Chain functions to develop effective dashboards to measure results and provide key insights on business performance.
  • Partner with Supply Chain Leadership Team to assess productivity opportunities to deliver cost savings to the organization.
  • Support preparation of detailed annual plan as well as monthly and quarterly forecasts with a focus on improving forecast accuracy across the Supply Chain.
  • Calculate and review manufacturing costs for proposed new items.
  • Partner with operations team to implement inventory controls and research and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Perform root cause analysis on P&L accounts to help diagnose business performance.
  • Provide ad-hoc business and analytical support as necessary.
  • Perform other duties as assigned that will impact and support the overall outcome of the company and department objectives.



Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or Supply Chain required. MBA preferred.
  • 10 + years of progressive, financial/business experience in Supply Chain finance in a Manufacturing environment. Management experience preferred.
  • Proven knowledge of financial accounting standards and Supply Chain principles/processes including a working understanding of standard costing environments.
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to partner with all levels in the organization to drive change and continuous improvement.
  • Possess the ability to develop and interpret complex analytical and forecasting models.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft applications and ability to quickly learn multiple ERP and BI systems.
  • Results oriented with a strong work ethic and understanding of importance of deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills with demonstrated ability to present ideas and influence others.
