Responsible for effective management of multiple residential loan sales teams. Ensure that established policies, procedures and compliance requirements are followed. Responsible for recruiting, hiring, training, developing and coaching for Residential Loan Officers in multiple regions. Develop relationships with Branch and Market Managers in branches where CRA Loan officers are housed. Assist with reporting and technical training for new CRA Sales Manager hires. Represent the company at various community functions. Ensure CRA LO's achieve their CRA service goals. Supervise directly a team of 12 or more residential loan officers and loan officer assistants, in multiple locations as well as a sales manager in another state. Responsible for oversight of the Loan Production Offices. Responsible for expanding and deepening customer relationships by identifying customers' needs comprehensively and matching their needs with selections and resources within the colleague's assigned business line and across all business lines of Associated Bank. Provide complete coverage for all meetings and general MCA Management coverage for the Director of Multi-Cultural Affordable when they are on PTO or when they are unavailable for any reason. This position requires a credit check per 12 CFR Chapter X, Part 1026, Truth in Lending, Regulation Z.

Operates in full compliance with internal policies and procedures as well as applicable regulations and laws, including but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering and S.A.F.E. Act requirements. Must submit required information to meet registry requirements, obtain a unique identifier, and maintain the registration requirements as directed by the S.A.F.E Act.

This person will,

  • Manage CRA sales efforts daily by establishing clear individual and team goals and coaching staff. Establish goals that are: specific and measurable to include client referral and cross-selling by product with a consistent emphasis on the total customer banking relationships. Ensure each CRA LO has a business plan and manage to them. Motivate team to truly deliver great customer experience. Recruit, select, train, develop, assign work to and review job performance of sales team. Inspire the same performance aspirations in the sales manager reporting to this position.

  • Responsible for effective communication between the loan sales team, loan processing team, underwriting and mortgage management, as well as other Associated Bank business partners.

  • Ensure that residential loan officers make regular business development calls to solicit new business or improve services with (CRA - home buyer counseling agencies, community organizations), real estate agents, and existing customers. Periodically attend meetings of real estate companies, (CRA - home buyer counseling agencies, community organizations) to explain new mortgage programs and qualifications, resolve problems, discuss current loan changes, and so forth. Represent Associated Bank at industry functions and meetings.

  • Under limited supervision, develop and implement strategic plans for achieving sales team goals to include production goals, compliance and regulatory measures, customer satisfaction expectations, and center of influence development.

  • Initiate new business opportunities for the bank through the development of new prospects, centers of influence and excellent service of existing client relationships. Actively call on centers of influence.

  • Assume overall administrative responsibility for loan sales team production. Work closely with Mortgage Loan Processing Supervisor and loan support staff in the areas of loan pipeline and exception management.

Requirements
Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or Real Estate or equivalent combination of education and experience Required

Experience

  • 2-4 years Mortgage lending in a financial institution and sales management. Working with home buyer counseling agencies and community organizations with a focus on achieving the Community Reinvestment Act objectives of the financial institution. Required
