Position Title: Manager of Internal Audit Professional Practices Business Unit: Audit Reports to: Director Manager of Internal Audit Professional Practices Position Overview: The position is responsible for Internal Audit Professional Practices and the administration of FNB's Internal Audit department standards, methodology, and Internal Audit quality assurance and improvement program (QAIP) in accordance with the IIA's International Professional Practices Framework and includes developing and leading continuous improvement initiatives and audit training and development. Primary Responsibilities: Program Execution and Monitoring: Assists in the development, maintenance and periodic review of departmental audit standards, methodology, policies and procedures that adhere to IIA standards, regulatory guidance and industry best practices. Program Design and Implementation: Supports execution of the annual risk assessment and audit plan processes, including the establishment of appropriate timelines and generation of reporting to leadership and the Board. Program Monitoring: Executes the Internal Audit Quality Assurance and improvement Program (QAIP) to monitor adherence to internal audit charter and internal audit methodologies including conformity with the Institute of Internal Auditors International Profession Practice Standards and Code of Ethics (the IIA Standards). Reporting and Communication: Prepares regular reports to executive management and Board on Internal Audit activities, including internal plan and schedule, control testing and reporting and issues management. Supports audit reporting to key stakeholders on periodic basis. Regulatory and Risk Management: Stays abreast of regulatory changes and industry trends related to internal audit, risk management and control testing. Maintains knowledge of industry standards and financial services regulations and effectively responds and interacts with regulators. Training and Development: Administers the development and implementation of Audit Services learning activities. Partners with internal and external resources to assess methodology and training needs and develop executable strategies. Performs other related duties and projects as assigned.
