What you'll do

The Business Review Strategist will bring together teams from across Docusign organizations and functions to help us deliver incredible products to our customers. This individual is one who strives to efficiently align cross-functional collaborators, has a keen business sense, sound judgment, and is comfortable sifting through data sets in a structured manner. This role will be instrumental in analyzing trends, and works seamlessly across organizational lines. The Business Review Strategist is a creative problem-solver, even in the face of more complex, or larger-scale deliverables. This individual will be able to tell a story based on data to ensure the team plays a critical role in getting Docusign's products into the hands of our customers.

This position is an individual contributor role reporting to Vice President, Product Technology Strategy & Operations.

Responsibility

  • Take the lead in analyzing product trends and is able to view them in context, holistically across marketing, sales, product, engineering, etc.
  • Develop and run efficient business reviews at the appropriate cadence in the overall product lifecycle, connecting operating lines between functions, and developing decision making frameworks
  • Provide a neutral perspective and drive key business and product decisions to be made cross functionally among senior leadership teams
  • Deliver influential and impactful presentations and other communications that lead to better functional and cross-functional understanding and alignment on objectives and path forward
  • Drive written and verbal communications around the launch of the Business Review framework, how it intersects with the overall product lifecycle, and highlights product and business insights, decisions needed, and aligned path forward in a clear and concise manner to a wide range of partners across functions
  • Identify complex problems and issues across the organization and define/lead programs and processes to solve them
  • Influence and advise team members, critical collaborators and executive management across organizations to act and drive programs to completion
  • Establish and lead operating processes and tools for effectively managing the organization
  • Champion quick and effective decision making, and hold self and team members accountable for reaching goals

Job Designation

Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)

What you bring

Basic

  • 8+ years related business experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience working in management consulting, product management and strategy, analytics, or product operations
  • Experience working with data visualization tools including Tableau
  • Experience working with product and engineering teams

Preferred

  • Bachelors or Masters Degree in Data Analytics or related field
  • Six Sigma "Black Belt" and effortlessly applies this ideology to ongoing business priorities
  • Experience analyzing data via SQL, Excel, Python
  • Business experience related to strategy, operations or analytics
  • Able to influence without authority, is able to tell a story based on data in order to bring others along in their vision
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Adaptable to changing conditions, e.g., evolving or new business processes, technologies, other tools, standards, ways of working, etc.

Wage Transparency

Pay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations:

California: $134,900.00 - $216,975.00 base salary

Illinois: $129,000.00 - $182,250.00 base salary

Washington: $129,000.00 - $190,550.00 base salary

This role is also eligible for the following:

  • Bonus: Sales personnel are eligible for variable incentive pay dependent on their achievement of pre-established sales goals. Non-Sales roles are eligible for a company bonus plan, which is calculated as a percentage of eligible wages and dependent on company performance.
  • Stock: This role is eligible to receive Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
