The Outpatient Mental Health Clinic is a multidisciplinary team working with individuals with acute and chronic mental illness, major mental illnesses (such as Schizophrenia, Schizoaffective Disorder), Depressive Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, Personality Disorders, co-occurring substance use conditions and physical health and developmental conditions.

The program embraces evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Multiple Family Therapy Group, Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Mindfulness, etc.to optimize the outcome of our clients.

Responsibilities:

Provides direct clinical treatment to adults 18 and over as follows:

  • Diagnostic Evaluations, Treatment Panning, Urgent Assessment and Intervention, Individual, Couples, Family and Group Psychotherapy
  • Interdisciplinary diagnostic treatment and planning conferences
  • Maintains clients EMR following the standards of the clinic.
  • Attends administrative meetings and in service trainings as required.
  • Performs other related job duties as assigned.
  • Respects diverse views and approaches, demonstrates Standards of Respect, and contributes to creating and maintaining an environment of professionalism, tolerance, civility and acceptance toward all employees, patients and visitors.

Qualifications:

  • Grade C12-Clinician III: Master's degree in a clinical course of study in behavioral health (social work, psychology, marriage and family therapy, counseling or related field) that meet the academic requirementsfor independent licensure in psychology, social work, marriage and family therapy, or mental health counseling in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Requires licensure as LMHC, LCSW, LMFT, or is actively working towards licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

  • Grade C16-Clinician IV: Masters degree in a clinical course of study (social work, psychology, counseling or related field) and LICSW licensure or licensed Psychologist

  • At least 2 years of experience working with major mental illness and substance use disorders population

  • We encourage Spanish speaking clinicians to apply.

  • Must be able to pass a CORI background check.
