We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Fidelity Coach to join our team. The Fidelity Coach will play a key role in ensuring the effective training and implementation of evidence-based practices within our organization, with a focus on fidelity to program models and adherence to best practices.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mental health and/or substance use services, experience with fidelity monitoring, and a commitment to promoting high-quality care for individuals with mental health and/or substance use needs.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING (ESSENTIAL DUTIES)...

  • Collaborate with program managers, supervisors, and frontline staff to assess fidelity to evidence-based practices and identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide training and ongoing support to staff members to enhance their understanding of program models, interventions, and best practices.
  • Conduct fidelity assessments and observations to monitor adherence to program protocols and identify areas for intervention.
  • Develop and implement strategies to address fidelity challenges and promote fidelity to program models.
  • Provide coaching and feedback to staff members to enhance their skills and competencies in delivering evidence-based interventions.
  • Collaborate with program leadership to develop and implement fidelity monitoring tools, data collection procedures, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate records of fidelity assessments, coaching sessions, and program outcomes.
  • Stay informed about emerging research, trends, and developments in the field of evidence-based practices and fidelity monitoring.
  • Participate in meetings, trainings, and conferences to share knowledge and expertise with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Uphold the mission, values, and ethical standards of Newport Mental Health in all interactions and activities.

WHAT WE EXPECT OF YOU...

  • Master's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related field.
  • Licensure or certification as a mental health professional (e.g. LMHC, LICSW, LCSW, LPC, LMFT) preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working in a mental health setting, with a strong understanding of evidence-based practices and fidelity monitoring.
  • Experience providing coaching, training, and support to staff members preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of evidence-based interventions and treatment modalities for individuals with mental health and/or substance use needs.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to cultural competence, diversity, equity, and inclusion in all aspects of work.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and electronic health record systems.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in accordance with professional codes of conduct.
  • Must demonstrate competencies and experience with adult and children's evidence-based practices for serious emotional disorders, and adults with serious mental illness, substance use, and co-occurring disorders.
