MSP Staff Physician FCM-FamMed-ZSFG-General Part Time 76166BR Job Summary Staff Physicians of the Department of Family and Community Medicine (FCM) at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital and Trauma Center (ZSFG) are passionate about improving healthcare delivery, particularly for the underserved; share in our mission to improve health through excellence, innovation, and an antiracist/anti-oppressive framework in patient care, education, research, advocacy, and community empowerment. These roles are appointed to one-year annual appointments ending June 30th of each year. Appointments are subject to annual renewal.

An offer will take into consideration the experience of the final candidate AND the current salary level of individuals working at UCSF in a similar role. For roles covered by a bargaining unit agreement, there will be specific rules about where a new hire would be placed on the range. To learn more about the benefits of working at UCSF, including total compensation, please visit: https://ucnet.universityofcalifornia.edu/compensation-and-benefits/index.html Department Description The Department of Family & Community Medicine (DFCM) is engaged in research, teaching, training, service and clinical activities located at seven primary UCSF and leased sites in San Francisco (Parnassus, ZSFG, Mission Center Building, Laurel Heights, Mission Hall, Lakeshore, Lakeside) as well as the OSHER center, Women's Health and the UCSF Primary Care Practices at China Basin and Laurel Village and at various local community, national and international research/service/educational training and clinical sites. In addition to the Department's Family Medicine Residency Program located at ZSFG, the Department has affiliated residency programs in Fresno, Salinas, Santa Rosa, Kaiser Vallejo, Santa Rosa, John Muir, and Contra Costa Health Systems. Authority and accountability for the Department reside with the Department Chair who delegates authority to Vice Chairs, the Executive Council, Directors and Chiefs of Service and their Administrators and the Department Associate Chair of Administration and Finance.
