Responsibilities The Human Resource Generalist supports the Administration and Compliance unit in all aspects of managing the daily functions of the Human Resource (HR) department. This position will have both administrative and strategic responsibilities when it comes to planning, implementing, and maintaining HR programs, policies, and procedures including but not limited to, benefits administration, employee, and labor relations, leave of absence management, workers compensation, talent acquisition and compensation, within the New York office and throughout the enterprise. This position functions in a 24/7 operations environment and thus must be available to respond to work-related emails, text or calls as directed by supervisor or management on weekdays and weekends based on operational needs.
Assists with the review, tracking, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments. This may include safety training, anti-harassment training, professional licensure, and aptitude exams and certifications.
Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree in business, human resources, or closely related field. Experience: Three years of performing directly related Human Resources functions. For applicants who will perform this position in New York City or Westchester County, the proposed annual salary is $75,000.00 p/yr to $85,000.00 p/yr. For applicants who will perform this position outside of New York City or Westchester County, salary will reflect local market rates and be commensurate with the applicant's skills, job-related knowledge, and experience. Unless otherwise specified, all posted opportunities are located in the New York or Greater Tri-State office locations. |
