Operator Packer Responsibilities: - Inspecting, sampling, and packing product using visual and dimensional checks to ensure quality standards are met - Labeling product accurately and tracking quantities - Operating production and packaging equipment as required - Communicating quality, process, or equipment issues to process technicians and/or supervisors - Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area - Performing basic sanitation tasks as needed - Executing and following processes to prevent and stop processing or shipment of nonconforming products - Reporting all safety, quality, sanitation, or equipment concerns to management - Complying with company, food, and safety policies Requirements for Operator Packer: - High School Diploma or equivalent - Ability to read, write, and understand safety rules, procedures and work instructions - Basic math skills and ability to follow written, verbal, and visual instructions; documenting and entering production data - Detail-oriented and effective communication skills; ability to work and communicate while working independently or within a team - Standing and walking for 8-10 hour shifts; regularly lifting 20 pounds IND045 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
