Position Title: Industrial Finisher Wage: $24.00 - $32.00/Hour Shift: 1st Shift Hours: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity available for an Industrial Finisher at a company in Racine, WI. Industrial Finisher Responsibilities: - Apply finishes to fixtures, displays, cabinets, and other products according to specifications and quality standards - Operate finishing equipment, including cup guns, pressure pots, and air-assist spray systems - Work with water-based and solvent-based finishing materials, including primers, paints, clear coats, and wipe-on and spray stains - Prepare surfaces and materials for finishing to ensure a smooth, consistent, high-quality result - Inspect finished products for color consistency, coverage, texture, and overall quality - Maintain a clean, organized, and safe finishing area - Properly handle finishing materials and follow all safety procedures for equipment, chemicals, and ventilation - Keep finishing supplies and equipment organized and report maintenance or supply needs - Work closely with production team members to meet deadlines and maintain workflow - Help maintain department standards and efficiency, with opportunities to take on additional leadership responsibilities Requirements for Industrial Finisher: - Previous experience in industrial finishing, spray finishing, cabinet finishing, furniture finishing, or a related field preferred - Knowledge of water-based and solvent-based coatings and finishing products - Experience using cup guns, pressure pots, and air-assist spray equipment preferred - Familiarity with primers, paints, clear coats, and wipe-on and spray stains - Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship - Ability to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment - Understanding of safe material handling and finishing procedures - Reliable, organized, and able to work independently or as part of a team - Leadership skills or a willingness to grow into a supervisory role is a plus IND012 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
