Position Title: Buyer - Contract
Wage: Based on Experience Shift: 1st Hours: 7:30am - 4:30pm (Monday - Friday) Our client in Fond du Lac, WI is seeking a Buyer to support purchasing and supplier management activities for a growing manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for sourcing materials, managing supplier relationships, monitoring inventory levels, and helping ensure quality, delivery, and cost objectives are met. This is a contract position expected to last 6-12 months. There is potential for permanent hire based on business needs. Buyer Responsibilities: - Manage supplier relationships and performance related to quality, delivery, and cost - Source and evaluate domestic and international suppliers - Negotiate pricing and purchasing agreements - Monitor inventory levels and purchasing settings within ERP systems - Collaborate with engineering, product management, customer service, and operations teams - Resolve supplier issues and coordinate corrective actions - Support supplier consolidation and cost-saving initiatives - Analyze supplier performance and participate in strategic sourcing projects Requirements for Buyer: - High School Diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred - 3-5 years of purchasing experience in a manufacturing or MRP environment - Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Office, including Excel - Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills - Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment - CPIM certification is a plus IND345 Accelerate Professional Talent Solutions has the resources of a large company but the feel and personalized customer service of a small one.
