PRN Lab Aide

Summary

Job Description:

Performs processing, ordering of testing, accessioning of specimens, and creating batches for core lab/reference testing to be sent out. Assists with assigned clerical quality control and maintenance duties.Answers phones, relays patient results and monitors expected/outstanding logs. Aide may perform somewaived or moderately complex testing as required.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous phlebotomy experience or phlebotomy certification from accredited school preferred, however can train 8 weeks on the job
