APPLY TODAY What You'll Do: Lead the documentation, implementation, and ongoing assessment of internal controls across financial and operational processes. Partner with process owners to evaluate control effectiveness, identify gaps, and develop action plans to address control deficiencies. Oversee control deficiency tracking and remediation activities, monitoring progress and communicating updates, risks, and outcomes to leadership. Support compliance self-assessments, maintain structured reporting on control performance, and identify opportunities to strengthen the overall control environment. Drive process improvement initiatives and support operational planning to enhance internal controls, compliance, and business performance. Job Requirements What You'll Bring: High School Diploma or GED 3+ years of experience in 4-5 SOX/Internal Auditing 3+ years of experience in Internal Audit background 3+ years of experience in accounting/financial reporting 3+ years of experience in Project Management background 3+ years of experience in MS Office - a lot of excel; good excel reporting What Sets You Apart: OPTRO (formally audit board Good understanding of how to report back to management Attention to detail Lead/Project Management skills (able to conduct and lead calls/meetings) Experience from a publicly traded company Understanding internal control framework Additional Information: Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the necessary employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
