The Associate Graphic Designer is passionate about not only creative design, but also how design and technology work together to strengthen the consumer experience with the Krispy Kreme brand. As such, this person is truly a dual-brained individual, facilitating creative initiatives with technical skill and attention to detail. This role is critical to the marketing creative team, supporting brand owners by transforming brand creative vision and strategy into engaging digital and print content. They are proactive, results-oriented, and has strong organizational skills to best manage multiple tasks, shift priorities and work under tight timelines while producing quality creative

A TASTE OF WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

• Supports creative services department with the production of a variety of high-quality deliverables across a diverse range of print (POP and Menu) and digital mediums (web, social, app, email)
• Ensures designs meet business and marketing objectives as stated within the creative project brief.
• Ensures designs are completed to a high standard of accuracy and design excellence.
• Effectively completes a steady flow of projects for a variety of internal clients including Brand Development, Store Design, Franchise partners, Training, etc.
• Troubleshoots production issues, as well as suggests and implement solutions
• Utilizes technical experience for file preparation, collection and final review of files going to press or online/digital usage
• Maintains brand standards, ensuring that all materials/content developed and implemented are consistent with the brand aesthetic, photography and voice
• Attends creative meetings and presents creative materials as needed
• Keeps current on technology and marketing trends in digital spaces with a solid understanding of the process and principles of user-centered design
• Identifies opportunities for integration of national promotions in digital/social channels, as well as opportunities beyond the support of promotions and occasions that may live solely in those channels

YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS:

• Formal training in Graphic/Interactive/Digital Design (or other design-related field) or a minimum of 1-2 years recent experience
• Expert in Adobe Creative suite (Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign)
• Highly organized, and an expert in time management
• Demonstrated ability to balance design aesthetics with technical platform capabilities, limitations, and other constraints
• Knowledge of print processes (lithography, flexography, wide-format digital) preferred
• Strong attention to detail with a keen eye for design; knowledge and experience of typography, color theory, photography, and video production desired
• Self-motivated with an innovative, can-do spirit, always ready to learn
• Excels in a highly collaborative environment
• Very adaptable with the ability to exercise patience and professionalism throughout the creative development and approval process
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and PowerPoint
