Philadelphia and Scientific Advancement The evidence project is part of the Philadelphia and Scientific Advancement portfolio, which houses all of Pew's grantmaking initiatives, including two that support scientific research nationally and internationally-the Pew Biomedical Programs and the Pew Fellows Program in Marine Conservation-and one that supports state-level science policy fellowships. The portfolio's grantmaking also focuses on supporting thriving communities in Pew's hometown of Philadelphia. Evidence Project Position Overview The associate I supports several initiatives of the Evidence Project, including the Impact Funders Forum, a collaborative of funders who align investments, share learning, and identify scalable approaches to improve the usefulness and impact of research, and the University Presidents and Chancellors Council for Public Impact Research, which works to scale changes in incentives and infrastructure for a more responsive and resilient research system. Reporting to the manager, Evidence Project, the associate I helps manage technical systems, assists with project management, supports event planning, and helps with internal and external partner coordination and scheduling.
