| Job Summary |
Under the supervision of the University Registrar, the Associate Director of Records is responsible for operations related to
NCAA certification and compliance as well as the management of multiple student success initiatives for the UT Dallas Office of the Registrar. |
| Minimum Education and Experience |
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university and three (3) years of relevant experience. An equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience will be considered. |
| Preferred Education and Experience |
- Proficiency in PeopleSoft Campus Solutions Student Records module, OnBase ECM, and/or data warehouse
- Previous experience utilizing athletic certification tools, such as Compliance Assistant, and credentials tools
- Previous experience with course management and creating, implementing, and overseeing student success initiatives

To the extent this position requires the holder to research, work on, or have access to critical infrastructure as defined in Section 117.001(2) of the Texas Business and Commerce Code, the ability to maintain the security or integrity of the critical infrastructure is a minimum qualification to be hired and to continue to be employed in the position. |
| Essential Duties and Responsibilities |
- Create and maintain data structure for new and continuing UT Dallas student academic record operations, including Division II Student Athletes in accordance with NCAA requirements; ensure data integrity and quality with appropriate audit checks.
- Maintain knowledge and adhere to NCAA and Lone Star Conference rules and regulations for Student Athletes as well as academic records and reporting; complete continuing education for NCAA and Lone Star Conference rules and regulations by attending annual conference and monitoring compliance updates.
- Coordinate with Office of Institutional Success and Decision Support regarding external reporting requirements for NCAA compliance, certificates, enrollment reporting, and other student success initiatives.
- Perform and oversee customer service related to Student Athlete academic requirements and processes, credential awarding, transfer plans, and Fast Track.
- Participate in the Athletics Support Services Working Group.
- Assist the University Registrar with design, interpretation, and implementation of relevant academic policies and procedures related to student success initiatives, assisting with mission-critical activities and projects.
- Write queries, perform records data analysis, and carry out testing for system upgrades and modifications.
- Maintain Registrar's intranet for advisors and other campus constituents, and provide training to faculty and staff as needed.
- Work with deans, academic chairs, and academic departments to resolve issues related to the academic record.
- Other duties as assigned.

Remote Work Notice
Following successful completion of an initial training period, a
hybrid work schedule may be available, subject to business needs and departmental approval.
Employee must be located within the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex area and have the ability to be on campus for work activities as scheduled and/or with 24-hour notice. Completion and approval of a UT Dallas Remote Work Agreement will be required, and use of personal internet, computer, and other standard equipment may be required. All remote work arrangements are subject to regular review and re-approval and may be canceled at any time.
