Security Officer - Residential Command Center

As a Security Officer - Residential Command Center, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and report observations in a timely manner. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while representing Allied Universal's agile, reliable, and innovative values. Pay Rate: $22.56 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, residents, employees, and contractors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed, and report unauthorized access attempts or suspicious activity to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; request additional assistance when needed.
• Prepare accurate reports and activity logs, documenting observations, incidents, patrols, and communications in accordance with site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
