Security Officer - Badge Access Control

As a Security Officer Unarmed Driver Badge Access in East Wenatchee, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a commercial real estate data center location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct access control activities, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally, and use technology to support daily operations. A valid driver's license is required for this driving position. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and other stakeholders by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate data center location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the property, building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify visitor and contractor credentials as directed, and maintain accurate security-related logs and incident reports.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership regarding daily activities, incidents, and maintenance-related concerns observed during patrols.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
