Location: Mt Juliet, TN

Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7a-330pm

If you know your way around a clamp truck, this Clamp Truck Operator gig in Mt Juliet is for you. You'll be moving big stuff that can't ride a pallet, like boxes, rolls, and appliances. It's fast-paced, pays fair, and you can work with a crew that respects hustle. Bring your skill, not a suit. The ideal candidate will have experience operating powered industrial trucks, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Job Duties



  • Safely operate a Reach Truck and other powered industrial equipment to load, unload, move, and store materials.
  • Perform daily equipment inspections and report any safety concerns or maintenance needs.
  • Follow all OSHA regulations and company safety procedures.
  • Accurately scan, handle, and transport products throughout the warehouse.
  • Assist with inventory movement, staging, palletizing, and order preparation.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Work closely with team members and supervisors to meet productivity and quality goals.


Education Requirements



  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous warehouse or powered industrial equipment training is beneficial.


Experience Requirements



  • Experience operating clamp truck equipment or similar powered industrial vehicles safely and efficiently.
  • Ability to transport large rolls, pallets, or specialized materials without product damage.
  • Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures, equipment inspections, and load handling practices.
  • Ability to accurately identify inventory, shipping documentation, and warehouse locations.
  • Strong attention to detail, dependable attendance, and commitment to workplace safety.


Preferred Qualifications



  • Previous warehouse, manufacturing, distribution, logistics, or paper products industry experience is preferred.
  • Experience operating clamp trucks, forklifts, RF scanners, warehouse management systems (WMS), or inventory software is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of inventory control, shipping, receiving, material handling, or Lean warehouse practices is considered an asset.
  • Individuals who demonstrate safe operating practices, productivity, teamwork, and careful material handling are well positioned for success as a Clamp Truck Operator.
  • Minimum of 1 year of recent Reach Truck or forklift experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
  • Ability to obtain Reach Truck certification.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality.


Physical Capabilities



  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physically active warehouse work throughout the shift.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds as required.
  • Ability to safely operate powered industrial equipment while maintaining awareness of surrounding warehouse traffic.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced warehouse or manufacturing environments while following established safety procedures.
