Seeking a hands-on Systems Engineering Technician to support the assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and checkout of advanced mechanical and hydro-mechanical test systems. Job Duties


  • Assemble and configure mechanical and hydro-mechanical systems using engineering drawings and work instructions
  • Perform system setup, teardown, repair, rework, and checkout activities
  • Conduct operational and customer acceptance testing
  • Troubleshoot mechanical and system performance issues
  • Partner with engineering teams to resolve technical concerns
  • Maintain accurate documentation and report drawing or process corrections
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, efficiency, and cost reduction


Education Requirements



  • High school diploma or GED preferred.


Experience Requirements



  • Experience assembling mechanical, electrical, or manufactured products using hand and power tools.
  • Ability to read blueprints, assembly drawings, work instructions, or technical documentation.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to accurately use measuring devices and maintain quality standards.
  • Commitment to workplace safety, quality workmanship, and productivity.


Preferred Qualifications



  • Previous experience in manufacturing, production, assembly, fabrication, or mechanical assembly is preferred.
  • Technical training, vocational education, or manufacturing coursework is beneficial.
  • Experience working with pneumatic tools, torque tools, fixtures, or assembly equipment is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, quality inspection procedures, or continuous improvement practices is considered an asset.
  • Individuals who demonstrate strong craftsmanship, dependability, teamwork, and attention to detail are well positioned for success as a System Engineering Technician.


Physical Capabilities



  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive assembly tasks throughout the shift.
  • Ability to lift components, materials, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Manual dexterity to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment.
  • Ability to maintain focus while performing detailed assembly work in a manufacturing environment.
