Temp - Real Estate Operations & Admin
Role Summary
The Real Estate Temp provides general administrative support to the Real Estate Lending team. This position assists with organizing, maintaining, and tracking loan documentation and electronic loan files, supporting routine administrative activities throughout the loan lifecycle, and helping maintain accurate departmental information.
The role supports post-closing activities, department reporting, shared inbox coordination, routine borrower/member communications, quality control and audit preparation, and other administrative and project needs as directed. Success in this role requires strong organization, attention to detail, dependability, confidentiality, and the ability to learn departmental systems and processes quickly.
Duties and Responsibilities
Real Estate Lending Administrative Support
- Provide general administrative support to the Real Estate Lending team.
- Assist with organizing, scanning, uploading, and maintaining loan documentation and electronic loan files.
Loan Documentation & File Support
- Review loan files for basic document completeness and follow up on missing administrative items.
- Support post-closing activities, including document organization, trailing document tracking, and file maintenance.
Data Entry, Reporting & Tracking
- Assist with data entry and updates within the loan origination system and departmental tracking tools.
- Assist with department reporting, spreadsheets, pipeline updates, and other tracking activities.
Shared Inbox & Routine Communications
- Monitor shared email inboxes and route requests or correspondence to the appropriate team member.
- Assist with borrower/member communications for routine administrative items, as directed.
Quality Control & Audit Support
- Support quality control and audit preparation by gathering and organizing requested documentation.
Additional Department Support
- Provide additional administrative and project support to the Real Estate team as needed.

Qualifications
Experience
- Previous administrative, clerical, customer service, financial services, lending, real estate, or office support experience is preferred but not required.
- Experience with electronic files, data entry, spreadsheets, email, document management, or administrative tracking tools is a plus.
- Ability to learn new systems, processes, and real estate lending terminology quickly.
Education/Certifications/Licenses
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Additional coursework or education in business, finance, real estate, or a related field is a plus.
Interpersonal Skills
- Strong organization, attention to detail, communication, dependability, follow-through, and ability to work collaboratively with others.
- Demonstrates professionalism and discretion when handling confidential loan and member information.
Computer Skills
- Basic working knowledge of Microsoft 365 products, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Ability to learn and use electronic systems, document-management tools, loan origination systems, and departmental tracking tools.
Other Skills
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to follow established procedures while asking questions when clarification is needed.

Physical Requirements
- Perform primarily sedentary work with limited physical exertion and occasional lifting of up to 10 lbs.
- Must be able to operate routine office equipment including telephone, copier, and computer equipment.
- Must be capable of regular, reliable, and timely attendance.
- Must be able to talk and hear.
- Must be capable of climbing/descending stairs in an emergency.
Working Conditions
Work is performed primarily indoors in a climate-controlled professional office environment. The work environment is generally moderate in noise level. Regular interaction with team members and other internal or external contacts may be required.
