HOURLY RATE (DEPENDING ON SKILLS/EXPERIENCE): $28.93 - $37.75

SCOPE: Reporting to the Marketing Supervisor, the Healthcare Marketing Liaison I serves as an external-facing community channel partner and two-way conduit between Epic Care and the healthcare community. The position builds and maintains relationships with physicians, office staff, healthcare organizations, community partners, and other key stakeholders; increases awareness of Epic Care services and resources; gathers market intelligence and community feedback; and communicates relevant insights, opportunities, access barriers, and emerging needs to internal leaders. The role supports practice growth by strengthening community connectivity, facilitating communication, and helping Epic Care remain responsive to the markets and communities it serves.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Articulate Epic Care's brand, services, value proposition, and key differentiators to community and healthcare partners while serving as a knowledgeable and accessible representative of the organization.
  • Develop, nurture, and maintain relationships with community and healthcare partners, including referral sources, patient advocacy organizations, community-based organizations, healthcare organizations, educational institutions, and other stakeholders aligned with Epic Care's services and community presence.
  • Maintain an active presence within the assigned market through regular field engagement, meetings, community outreach, and relationship-building activities based on organizational priorities and community needs.
  • Serve as a liaison between Epic Care and community and healthcare partners by communicating organizational information externally while gathering and communicating community feedback, needs, opportunities, barriers, and other relevant market insights internally.
  • Develop an understanding of the assigned market and identify emerging trends, changes in the healthcare landscape, community needs, competitive activity, access barriers, partnership opportunities, and other information that may inform Epic Care's strategy and operations.
  • Utilize Epic Care's customer relationship management system and other available technology to plan outreach activities, maintain current relationship information, document meaningful interactions and market intelligence, and track follow-up activities and outcomes.
  • Identify concerns, service barriers, or opportunities raised by community and healthcare partners; communicate actionable feedback to the appropriate internal stakeholders; and support timely follow-up and closed-loop communication when appropriate.
  • Plan, organize, and support meetings, educational programs, in-service presentations, sponsorships, expos, community events, and other engagement opportunities that strengthen Epic Care's relationships and visibility within the community.
  • Collaborate with physicians, operational leaders, Marketing, and other organizational partners to facilitate community connections, communicate market needs and insights, and support initiatives responsive to identified opportunities or barriers.
  • Provide regular updates to the Marketing Supervisor regarding relationship development, community engagement, market intelligence, emerging opportunities or concerns, and other relevant activities and outcomes.
  • Represent Epic Care with professionalism, compassion, integrity, strong communication skills, and a collaborative approach while working independently in the community and across the organization.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned and comply with Epic Care policies, procedures, privacy requirements, and applicable compliance standards.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS NEEDED:

  • Ability to represent Epic Care professionally and effectively in individual meetings, group settings, presentations, community events, and other external engagements.
  • Strong listening and critical-thinking skills with the ability to identify meaningful community needs, market trends, barriers, opportunities, and feedback.
  • Ability to synthesize information gathered through community engagement and communicate relevant, actionable insights to internal stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated and capable of independently planning and prioritizing field activities while remaining responsive to changing organizational and community needs.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, including timely documentation, follow-up, and relationship management.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and organizational levels and facilitate connections between external partners and appropriate Epic Care resources.
  • Comfortable utilizing CRM and other technology to document relationships, activities, market intelligence, follow-up, and outcomes.
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities and adapt as organizational priorities, healthcare markets, and community needs evolve.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for regular travel throughout the assigned market.

Qualifications

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • 1 year of community outreach, physician relations, marketing, business development, customer relations, or equivalent healthcare-related experience preferred.
  • High School Diploma or Certificate required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable using CRM or physician relationship-management systems; ability to organize and summarize qualitative and quantitative information required.
