Due Diligence Team Leader

Due Diligence Team Leader to help us keep building.
In this role, you will work with our
Due Diligence and Brownfield team and report to
Roman Wilson, leading a high-performing group of Due Diligence professionals while helping grow Fishbeck's Due Diligence services. You will advance departmental goals through technical leadership, business development, exceptional client service, and staff development.
What You'll Do
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Due Diligence professionals.
- Manage performance, staffing, coaching, recruiting, and staff development.
- Manage core supervisory functions, including timesheet and expense report review and approval, time off requests, annual performance appraisals, annual compensation adjustments, and bonus allocations.
- Support department-level and Due Diligence service line meetings and contribute to broader organizational initiatives as needed.
- Drive business development efforts to secure new Due Diligence-related projects, maintaining a strong team backlog and optimal utilization.
- Oversee project execution and manage key client relationships to ensure high-quality delivery and client satisfaction.
- Represent Fishbeck at client meetings, industry events, and community functions, strengthening the firm's visibility and relationships.
- Monitor team financial performance through Vantagepoint dashboards and reports, implementing proactive strategies to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
- Ensure effective management of accounts receivable, including oversight of aging and timely resolution of outstanding balances.
- Establish clear performance expectations and measurable goals; monitor progress and provide timely, specific feedback to drive accountability and professional growth.
What We're Looking For
- BS or MS in Environmental Science, Geology, Hydrogeology, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience leading environmental due diligence, brownfield redevelopment, and environmental consulting projects.
- Strong experience preparing and reviewing Due Diligence reports, conducting environmental liability evaluations, and assessing redevelopment-related environmental considerations.
- Proven success managing projects, clients, and technical teams.
- Excellent communication, coaching, and relationship-building skills.
