Position Title: General Production - Die Cast
Wage: $19.50/hour Shift: 2nd or 3rd Hours: 3:00pm - 11:00pm (Monday - Friday) or 11:00pm - 7:00am (Sunday - Thursday) Reached a dead end at your current job? This is a potential to hire position for 2nd or 3rd shift. Apply today! General Production Responsibilities: - Inspecting parts for defects and verifying product quality - Reviewing quality alerts, process instructions, and production requirements - Loading and unloading parts from trim presses and related equipment - Removing excess material from parts using approved tools and methods - Processing, certifying, and packaging finished parts according to specifications - Completing required production documentation, tags, and records - Performing gauge checks at required intervals and documenting results - Reporting production, quality, or equipment issues to supervision - Identifying and separating non-conforming parts in designated areas - Monitoring and reporting scrap according to established procedures - Packing finished parts onto skids, racks, or designated containers - Maintaining clean and organized work area - Following safety policies and company standards Requirements for General Production: - High school diploma or equivalent - Prior manufacturing experience preferred - Ability to work in hot temperatures; frequent walking, bending, twisting, lifting, and carrying (up to 50 pounds) throughout shift - Strong attention to detail and quality - Ability to work in fast-paced, repetitive environments - Working knowledge of grinders, sanders, presses, hand tools, and measuring/gauging devices (or willingness to learn) IND045 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
