Position Title: Stand-Up Forklift Operator
Wage: $23/hour Shift: 2nd Hours: 2:00pm-10:30pm Join a fast-paced warehouse team operating stand-up forklifts in a temperature-controlled environment in Cedar Rapids, IA. Great potential to hire opportunity for an experienced forklift operator looking for steady, hands-on work! Stand-Up Forklift Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Operate a stand-up forklift to safely move, load, unload, and stage products - Pick and prepare orders while verifying product quantities and locations - Maintain accurate inventory records using RF scanners and basic computer systems - Perform equipment inspections and report damage, discrepancies, or safety concerns - Follow all warehouse safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area Stand-Up Forklift Operator Requirements: - Previous stand-up forklift experience required - Must be comfortable working in a cooler environment of 34-38F - Basic computer, math, and inventory skills - Ability to stand, bend, reach, lift, push, and pull throughout the shift - Must be able to understand safety instructions, work orders, and product labels - Must be available for weekend work and overtime as required QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
