We are expanding our Consumer Division and looking for a talented Demand Planner to help drive accurate forecasting, optimized inventory, and strong Cross functional alignment. -functional alignment. Position Summary The Demand Planner will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and improving demand forecasts for assigned product categories within Almo's Consumer Division. This role plays a key role in ensuring product availability, minimizing inventory risk, and supporting revenue growth. The ideal candidate has hands on experience with a leading demand planning platform, strong analytical skills, and 2-3 years of experience in forecasting and/or inventory management. Key Responsibilities Develop, manage, and improve SKU-level forecasts using demand planning software and internal analytics. Level forecasts using demand planning software and internal analytics. Analyze historical data, trends, promotions, seasonality, POS data, and customer input to refine forecasts. Partner with Sales, Purchasing, Category Management, and Operations to align assumptions and communicate forecast changes. Monitor forecast accuracy and bias; identify root causes and implement continuous improvement actions. Support S&OP / IBP processes through forecast presentations, insights, and data-driven recommendations. Review inventory levels, inbound supply, and risk exposure; recommend adjustments to maintain healthy stock levels. Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams on new product introductions, discontinuations, and lifecycle planning. Generate and interpret demand planning reports for leadership and cross-functional teams. Support process improvements, tool enhancements, and data governance within the planning function. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Statistics, or related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in demand planning or a related field. Proficiency in demand planning software and statistical analysis. Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge. Excellent communication and multitasking skills. Relevant certifications (CPIM, CSCP) preferred.
