Visitwww.gulfstreambenefits.com to learn more about our benefits plans. This is a Certification Electrical Systems Engineer position for the Completions Certification Engineering team. This team supports completion related activities for new designs of interior furnishings and amenities as part of outfitting new Gulfstream aircraft along with supporting other Certification related activities. This position requires effective communication skills, and a demonstrated ability to coordinate company certification programs for alterations and modifications. This position is involved in creating documents to support the certification of the electrical aspects of the interior completions. Additional responsibilities are outlined in the job description and as assigned. The abilities to multi-task, be proactive/self-start, and communicate with internal and external customers are important aspects of this position. Experience with Avionics and/or Electrical Systems certification is preferred. Experience with Avionics and/or Electrical Systems design is a plus. Experience in project management is a plus. Experience and knowledge of DO-160, DO-178 and DO-254 processes and experience with FAA (14 CFR Part 25) and/or EASA (CS-25) certification is a plus. Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor's Degree Engineering or a related curriculum required or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job. 18 months related Engineering experience. Experience credit will be considered for related advance degrees limited to 2 years for Master's and 4 years for PhD in field applicable to the job position.
