Summary: The Water Management Coordinator will support and operate water infrastructure projects to efficiently and cost-effectively move, store and deliver water for all Diamondback water needs. The successful candidate will be field based and require daily driving to oilfield locations and will participate in weekly required office meetings.

Job Responsibilities:

Include but are not limited to

  • Oversee and coordinate the daily monitoring and reporting of multiple water wells, construction sites, water volumes, storage, disposal activities, and pit levels to ensure optimal operations
  • Ensure efficient operation and maintenance of water wells and pipeline distribution systems to optimize production rates, involving invoice coding and tracking
  • Oversee water infrastructure construction projects for safety, work quality and cost
  • Provide direction to water transfer / poly crews, water treatment crews, water well drilling, Frac pit / lining crews, pipeline crews, electrical contractors, and other associated contractors
  • Optimize usage of internal software to track cost associated with projects and daily progress
  • Manage required water levels for current and upcoming drilling and completions projects
  • Aid water permitting and planning processes by utilizing knowledge of environmental regulations, Federal/State/County/Private ROW policies and water regulations for TX and NM
  • Support and implement best practices for water conservation, spill prevention, and emergency response to safeguard water resources and minimize environmental impact

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of five (5+) years of SWD or Pipeline related job experience
  • Minimum of one (1+) year(s) of project leadership experience in either a work or non-work related capacity
  • Knowledge of state and federal water environmental regulations, permitting processes, and best practices for water sourcing, treatment, and disposal
  • Willingness to work holidays, weekends and nonscheduled call-outs
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license
  • Able to meet and maintain the clean driving insurability standard requirements to drive a company vehicle, which means a driving record that is clear of any of serious traffic violations within the past three (3) years (other driving record requirements may also apply)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Self-starter requiring minimal supervision
  • Demonstrated communication, teamwork, and project management skills
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
