Job Duties

• Assist with pulling electrical wire and cable through installed conduit.
• Feed cable into conduit while another employee pulls from the opposite end.
• Use fish tape, pull string, pulling rope, cable rollers, and approved cable-pulling lubricant.
• Assist with setting up wire reels and reel stands.
• Keep tension on cable and prevent it from twisting, kinking, tangling, or becoming damaged.
• Guide and organize cable during the pulling process.
• Measure, stage, carry, and position wire or cable as directed.
• Use basic hand tools to assist with job preparation.
• Maintain a clean work area and remove scraps, packaging, and other trip hazards.

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous manufacturing or production training is beneficial.

Experience Requirements

• Ability to work safely in manufacturing and production environments.
• Ability to follow written work instructions, production procedures, and quality standards.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain productivity and consistent quality.
• Mechanical aptitude and the ability to safely operate basic production equipment when required.
• Dependable attendance, teamwork, and a commitment to workplace safety.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing, assembly, production, warehouse, or industrial experience is preferred.
• Experience operating production equipment, performing quality inspections, or meeting production goals is beneficial.
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement practices, or workplace safety procedures is considered an asset.
• Individuals who demonstrate reliability, adaptability, teamwork, and a strong work ethic are well positioned for success as a Wire Puller.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive production tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift materials, components, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to safely operate around production equipment and moving machinery.
• Ability to maintain productivity while working in fast-paced manufacturing environments.
