Pay Rate: $19.00 - $30.00 per hour (DOE + Shift)

Schedule:12-hour shift (7 AM - 7 PM) (7 PM - 7 AM)

Education Requirements



  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Ability to read and interpret job tickets, work orders, and production specifications.


Experience Requirements



  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in offset printing, press operations, or a related manufacturing environment.
  • General knowledge of sheet-fed or web offset press procedures, materials, and production processes.
  • Experience supporting press setup, operation, and maintenance activities.


Preferred Qualifications



  • Ability to use a micrometer and other measuring tools to accurately mount and align printing plates.
  • Knowledge of press registration, color matching, and print quality standards.
  • Mechanical aptitude with the ability to make machine adjustments and perform basic troubleshooting.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.


Physical Capabilities



  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and handle printing plates, materials, and tooling as needed.
  • Comfortable working around industrial machinery, inks, solvents, and production equipment.
  • Manual dexterity to operate hand tools, power tools, and press controls.


Job Duties



  • Assist Press Operators with press setup, make-ready, operation, and maintenance of sheet-fed or web offset printing presses.
  • Install printing plates, blankets, packing sheets, and related press components using hand and power tools.
  • Adjust feeder systems, delivery mechanisms, suction grippers, guides, feed wheels, and other press equipment to ensure proper operation.
  • Support roller replacement, pressure adjustments, and routine equipment maintenance.
  • Clean blankets, ink rollers, ink fountains, and press components using approved cleaning methods and solvents.
  • Assist with color corrections, registration adjustments, and press setup activities to ensure print quality standards are met.
  • Review job specifications and prepare materials required for successful production runs.
  • Perform routine maintenance and minor equipment repairs under the direction of senior Press Operators.
  • Follow all safety, quality, and production procedures while helping meet production goals and deadlines.
