Now hiring for an Assembler - Direct Hire

Location: San Diego, CA

Pay Rate: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour

Schedule: 630 am to 3 pm

Looking for Assembler jobs in San Diego where teamwork and steady production make a difference? This opportunity lets you assemble products, inspect finished work, and help keep factory operations running safely, accurately, and efficiently.

Job Duties



  • Read, interpret electromechanical drawings, and follow detailed work instructions from production travelers.
  • Performs bench-type processes to complete mechanical and electrical assemblies and subassemblies, using hand tools and electronic and pneumatic tooling.
  • Uses equipment such as a magnifying glass (microscope), ohm meter, epoxy machine, and hydraulic crimping machine.
  • Execute production hand-soldering tasks in accordance with industry standards, IPC610, IPC620.
  • Cut, Strip, and crimp cables according to schematic requirements.


Education Requirements



  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous assembly, manufacturing, or production training is beneficial.


Experience Requirements



  • Ability to assemble products or components according to work instructions and production standards.
  • Ability to safely use basic hand tools, power tools, fixtures, or production equipment as required.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to inspect completed work for quality.
  • Ability to maintain productivity while performing repetitive assembly tasks.
  • Dependable attendance, teamwork, and commitment to workplace safety.
  • Soldering experience


Preferred Qualifications



  • Previous factory, manufacturing, production, assembly, or warehouse experience is preferred.
  • Experience working on production lines or assembling mechanical, electrical, or consumer products is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of quality inspection, Lean manufacturing, or continuous improvement practices is considered an asset.
  • Individuals who demonstrate reliability, adaptability, teamwork, and attention to detail are well positioned for success as a Assembler.


Physical Capabilities



  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive assembly tasks throughout the shift.
  • Ability to lift components, materials, or finished products weighing up to 10 pounds.
  • Manual dexterity to safely handle parts and operate assembly tools or equipment.
  • Ability to maintain productivity in a factory environment while following established safety procedures.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand.
  • The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls and to climb or balance.
  • The employee is occasionally required to walk; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; and talk or hear.
  • The employee must regularly lift and move up to pounds, frequently lift and move up to pounds, and occasionally lift and move up to pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
