Responsibilities

Part Time Night Shift - Fairfax Behavioral Health is seeking Master's Level Intake Clinicians for our Assessment team located in Kirkland, WA.

Our intake team operates 24/7 handling referrals from hospitals, DCRs and providers for our Kirkland, Everett and Monroe campuses. Intake clinicians and nurses also assist callers from across the state with inquiries into our services for both mental health and substance use concerns.

Position Summary

The Intake Clinician/RN handles all hospital admission referrals including DCR and provider referrals for all three of our local campuses. The Intake Clinician/RN utilizes strong telephonic assessment skills to manage inquiry calls from community members across the state who are seeking services. Fairfax admits new patients 24/7. The ability to manage your own workload independently while also maintaining the flexibility to step in to help the team when needed is key in the I & A department. The Intake clinician/RN works under the direction of the Lead Clinician and the Director of Assessment & Referral.

Schedule:

Saturday/Sunday/Monday 10pm-6am

Qualifications

Education:

  • Masters degree in social work or mental health related field or Licensed as a Registered Nurse in WA State.

Experience:

  • A minimum of one (1) years' experience in social work or a mental health setting. Familiarity with WA state mental health system is preferred

Additional Requirements:

  • Active WA State License LICSW, LMHC, LMFT(Associate's licenses also accepted) or Registered Nurse. Must be able to complete CPR, 1st Aid, Handle with Care, and Verbal De-escalation trainings upon hire.
