The Sr Analyst Application Services/Technical is a high-level individual contributor in the Application Services area of the Information Services (I/S) department. This position leads, modifies, configures, tests, implements, and maintains third-party computer application software and/or designs and develops specialized fit-to-purpose programs utilizing Company standards and practices. The position analyzes business needs, translates needs into requirements, and develops or recommends software solutions with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency. This position also supports business operations by providing guidance, training, and system support while continuously analyzing current business processes against related policies and procedures to promote technology innovations aimed to maximize productivity and standardization across the organization. This position performs work with a high degree of latitude and independently at times and handles the most complex issues and problems using advanced theories, methods, and techniques to complete work. Provides leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to Analyst I/Application Services and Analyst II/Application Services. POSITION DIMENSIONS The incumbent does not have accountability for budgets but may have accountability for direct reports. The incumbent frequently exchanges information with senior management, Information Services support staff, vendors, and consultants. QUALIFICATIONS

Requires four to six years of relevant work experience and a bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited university, or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential job responsibilities.

Industry recognized certification(s) relevant to responsibilities are preferred. Incumbents performing activities requiring government, regulatory or vendor certification must keep those certifications current. ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and maintain Oracle RDBMS and related objects (tables, views, stored procedures, triggers, packages).
- Design, develop and maintain complex PL/SQL code within procedures, functions, packages, triggers.
- Design, develop and debug complex SQL queries including dynamic SQL.
- Design, develop and maintain front end GUI screens for a custom application using Oracle Development Tools (Oracle Forms and Reports).
- Participate in established software system testing and validation procedures and documentation.
- Plan, design, and conduct appropriate levels of application or infrastructure testing, including preparation of test plans, scripts, data, and expected results.
- Support production environment by troubleshooting issues and working rapidly to provide a workaround or resolution to the stated issue.
- Consult with business support group and application users to understand business requirements and translate those concepts into a formal technical design.
- Select and utilize appropriate troubleshooting approaches to address customer specific issues in a comprehensive and useful manner, display a broad grasp of the relevant technical concepts, and incorporate these concepts into pragmatic solutions for customers.
- Take part in peer code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards, security and compliance rules.
- Work within the constructs of the Software Development Life Cycles (SDLC) and/or Agile/Scrum philosophy.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and fix performance bottlenecks in application database queries, application GUI screen, packages or procedures.
- Work with project management and/or business area personnel to determine functional needs and identify technical application requirements, including requirements for security, recovery and integration with related applications.
- Participate in the analysis and prioritization of system enhancements and upgrades and ensure appropriate coordination and communication.
- Confer with other teams such as system architects, middleware analysts to design systems and perform tasks related to enhancements, performance and security.
- Work closely with DBAs and infrastructure teams to ensure system stability and scalability.
- Support modernization initiatives.
- Implement proper application software version control related tasks.
- Work independently or in a team construct to produce results in timely and efficient manner.
SALARY DETAILS Las Vegas: $95,248.00 - $142,871.00
