Reporting to the Senior Director, Analytics and Business Intelligence, the Associate Director, Prospect Management and Analytics, is an integral member of the ARD data analytics team and provides high-level project management support for Kellogg's Advancement team. This role delivers data, metrics, and prospect management recommendations and report findings to the Advancement team, helping to ensure robust and accurate prospect pools for both major gift officers and the annual fund. This position also coordinates alumni research activities, leads regular prospect management meetings, and promotes consistent prospect and alumni engagement practices across Kellogg.

Specific Responsibilities:

Prospect and Portfolio Management

• Leads prospect management activities for the major and principal gifts teams, supporting strategies to secure gifts of $1 million or more from Kellogg's highest-capacity donors.
• Communicates fundraising activities and assigns tasks to the broader Advancement team as needed, engaging other team members when appropriate.
• Maintains robust and appropriately balanced prospect portfolios through regular review, assignment, qualification, and reassignment of prospects.
• Manages the new leads process to discover, research, and distribute prospects.
• Plans and leads regular portfolio and pipeline reviews.
• Promotes consistent use of prospect management practices, definitions, and data standards.

Prospect Research and Identification

• Proactively identifies and evaluates alumni and other constituents with significant giving or engagement potential.
• Conducts research within priority areas, including private equity, healthcare, finance, entrepreneurship, and C-suite leadership to strengthen prospect pipelines.
• Monitors peer institutions and industry trends to identify emerging opportunities and recommend improvements to research and prospect management practices.

Analytics, Reporting, and Strategic Partnerships

• Serves as a key liaison between Kellogg Development and central ARD.
• Develops and maintains Tableau and SQL reports and dashboards that track fundraising, outreach, pipeline, and productivity metrics.
• Analyzes prospect and fundraising data to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and recommended actions.
• Produces regular reporting on proposal activity and facilitates strategy discussions with the major gifts and annual giving teams.
• Collaborates across Kellogg to identify priority alumni, establish engagement measures, and support data-informed fundraising strategies.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree

• 3-5 years of experience in related setting, preferably in an educational setting.

Target hiring range for this position will be $80,000 - $88,000 per year. Offered salary will be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
