Location: Louisville, KY

Pay: $37.94+/hour

We're seeking an experienced Material Planning & Logistics Supervisor for a temporary assignment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This leadership role is ideal for candidates with experience in logistics, production planning, inventory control, supply chain operations, warehouse management, and team supervision.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and support an hourly production and logistics team
• Coordinate material flow and workflow to meet production schedules
• Monitor safety, quality, and productivity performance standards
• Drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and workplace safety requirements
• Build strong working relationships with employees, union representatives, and leadership teams
• Use Microsoft Office tools to track performance metrics, production data, and operational reports

Qualifications

• 1+ year of supervisory experience in a manufacturing, material planning, logistics, warehouse, or supply chain environment
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Detail-oriented, dependable, and committed to achieving operational goals
