Position Summary Build Precision Metal Components for High-Performance Applications At Parker Lord, our production operators do more than run machines - they help manufacture the precision components that support demanding aerospace and industrial applications. We are seeking an HCL Production Shim Operator to join our High-Capacity Laminates area at the Parker Lord Erie facility. In this role, you will perform a variety of blanking, forming, deburring, machining, and inspection operations to produce metal component parts that meet exact drawing specifications. This is a hands-on manufacturing role for someone who takes pride in quality, enjoys working with production equipment, and wants to be part of a team where precision, safety, and consistency matter every day. What You'll Do As an HCL Production Shim Operator, you will support Erie plant production by manufacturing precision metal components in the Shim Department within the High-Capacity Laminates area. Key responsibilities include:
This position involves working in a manufacturing environment with a reasonable level of noise. Proper personal protective equipment will be provided. Schedule Requirement Candidates must be able to work an off-shift schedule for an extended period of time. This assignment may continue for multiple years.
