Maintenance Planner Scheduler

As the site Maintenance Planner Scheduler, you will plan Mechanical Integrity (MI) work, communicate with Reliability Engineering, and fill out schedule for planned/project work orders within the Circleville, OH Plant. You will create weekly, monthly and yearly plans to ensure 100% scheduling of all PMs. You will report to the Maintenance Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Obtain quotes or bids for planned jobs and projects work by PPG's Purchasing Guidelines
• Develop job scope for work that is planned or projects
• Create schedule for upcoming jobs
• Request proper number of Contractors / PPG maintenance for scheduled days of work for planned/projects
• Communication with Maintenance/Contractor Supervisor on planned/project work
• Plan and communicate for parts and supplies that are needed for planned/project work
• Attend meetings for Mechanical Integrity (MI)
• Schedule outage meetings for work that is needed during plant outage
• Completed all Work Orders in a timely manner within the Computer Maintenance Management
• System (CMMS).
• Maintain accurate job plans and details within the existing CMMS
• Track outages for planned/project work using CMMS and complete when work has been done
• Enter Purchase Orders for required parts and critical spares
• Completion of all duties assigned by Manager

Qualifications:

• High School degree or GED required; highly preferred an associate's degree with equivalent technical experience developed through maintenance career path with 6 to 10 years' experience in scheduling, OR BS degree preferred with 3 to 6 years of proven experience in planning/ scheduling for maintenance.

• Background in Maintenance required.
• Ability to read and understand diagrams, P&ID drawings and basic schematics.
• Proficient with CMMS systems desired.
