About the RoleThe Production Supervisor oversees the manufacturing and assembly of space system hardware, including component integration, subassemblies, and complete units. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to lead teams in a precision-driven environment.

You'll be responsible for reviewing our production schedules, material, and manpower resources, assigning employees to maximize our production objectives, informing employees of production and material problems, and resolving problems affecting schedules while maintaining the quality of our products. You'll participate in establishing and modifying our operational methods and processes by recommending changes in materials, equipment, and procedures. About You

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise production personnel in the build and assembly of space system hardware components, subassemblies, and integrated systems, providing direct guidance in accordance with operational plans and management direction

  • Review production schedules, material requirements, and manpower resources to optimize manufacturing operations and ensure execution of weekly and monthly operational plans

  • Assign personnel and resources strategically to meet production objectives, program milestones, and schedule commitments

  • Monitor and manage costs and workforce plans relative to team performance and organizational targets

  • Identify and communicate production constraints, material shortages, and technical issues to relevant stakeholders across functional groups

  • Resolve scheduling conflicts, operational challenges, and technical problems through data analysis and collaborative problem-solving while maintaining strict quality standards

  • Remain actively involved with the team to meet schedules and address challenges in real-time

  • Collaborate with engineering and quality assurance teams to establish and refine operational methods, processes, policies, and procedures

  • Recommend improvements to materials, equipment, tooling, and procedures to enhance efficiency, product quality, and operational effectiveness

  • Ensure compliance with aerospace industry standards, specifications, and safety protocols

  • Execute performance management activities, including coaching, feedback, and accountability measures

  • Embody organizational culture and values, support change initiatives, and hold team members accountable to company standards

  • Present technical information, operational plans, and recommendations to peer groups, line leadership, and cross-functional audiences to gain cooperation and alignment

Minimum Qualifications:
  • RequiresBachelor'sdegree in a related field (or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree)

  • The ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.

  • Ability to uphold and model company values and ability to hold others accountable to values.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations.

  • Experience supporting organizational changes

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Ability to understand and interpret technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manuals, and/or publications.

  • Able to review work instructions, screen for discrepancies and offer feedback to various engineering teams.

  • Experience withidentification of issue root causeandcorrective action planning.Demonstrated history of ensuring product quality and conformance to engineering requirements.

  • Previousmanagement or lead experiencein a manufacturing,MROor production environment;the ability to recruit employees; assign, direct, and evaluatetheir work while overseeing the development and maintenance of staff competence.

  • Experience in schedule risk identification and mitigation planning.Able to provide or develop required data and reporting to support departmentaltargets and improvement objectives.

  • Proven safety mindset - able to lead improvements to area safety and efficiency through shop floor audits and continuous improvement.

  • Continuously improve process efficiency,manpowerutilization, and overall productivity.

  • Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense or US Military.

  • Abilityto adapt to a constant changing work assignments and afast pacedwork environment.

  • Experience with applying Lean Manufacturing principles.

  • Willingness and flexibility to travel for both short and extended trips asrequired.

Compensation:

Pay Range:

$78,362.00 - $107,747.00

Your actual base compensation will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on job-related knowledge and skills, education,experience, internal equity and market competitiveness.

IMPORTANT NOTICE:

This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret U.S. Security Clearance. U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance for employment. Non-U.S. Citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance. The Department of Defense Consolidated Adjudications Facility (DoD CAF), a federal government agency, handles the adjudicative aspects of the security clearance eligibility process for industry applicants. Adjudicative factors which affect the outcome of the eligibility determination include, but are not limited to, allegiance to the U.S., foreign influence, foreign preference, criminal conduct, security violations and illegal drug use.
