Soldering Technician Wanted Looking for Soldering Technician jobs in Vandalia where your soldering skills help build quality products? Education Requirements High school diploma or equivalent preferred Experience Requirements Minimum of six months of soldering experience required Previous cup soldering experience preferred Prior experience in a manufacturing environment required Ability to read and interpret written and verbal work instructions Physical Capabilities Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for detailed assembly work Ability to perform repetitive tasks with consistent accuracy over the course of a shift Ability to sit or stand for extended periods while performing close, detailed work Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) throughout the shift Job Duties Read and interpret written work instructions to complete assigned tasks Perform wire and lead tinning using soldering pots Cut, trim and form wire leads accurately using hand tools Conduct visual self-inspection of completed work per IPC standards Perform light assembly duties with a strong focus on quality and accuracy Maintain accurate production records Collaborate with team members across departments to support production goals Follow all safety practices and PPE requirements Work effectively under pressure while maintaining organization and focus Communicate and cooperate professionally with coworkers and supervisors Work scheduled overtime and occasional weekends as needed Perform other duties as assigned Benefits Competitive Weekly Pay Comprehensive Benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage.
