Academy Lunch Supervisor, Lower School

The Lunch Supervisor is responsible for providing a safe, orderly, and caring environment during the student lunch period. This individual actively supervises students, promotes positive behavior, and ensures that lunch procedures are followed while supporting students' needs.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Supervise students throughout the lunch period to ensure a safe and respectful environment.
• Monitor student behavior and reinforce school expectations with consistency and kindness.
• Assist students with their needs during lunch, including opening containers, locating supplies, and responding to minor concerns.
• Encourage good manners and appropriate social interactions during mealtime.
• Maintain cleanliness in the lunch area by encouraging students to clean up after themselves and monitoring tables and surrounding spaces.
• Promote student safety by remaining attentive and addressing concerns promptly.
• Ensure students remain seated when appropriate and follow cafeteria procedures.
• Organize students for dismissal from lunch, ensuring they line up quietly, safely, and in an orderly manner.
• Maintain punctuality by arriving on time and ensuring lunch routines stay on schedule.
• Communicate any student concerns, injuries, behavioral issues, or safety concerns to the appropriate school personnel.
• Model professionalism, patience, and positive interactions with students and staff.
