Role Description Accountable for the products assigned and will own the roadmap, vision, and strategy for the complete product lifecycle, including budget guidance POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES Define problem statements and product vision + strategy, and maintain product backlog by: Conducting continuous product discovery, which is sustained practice of experimentation and customer conversations to inform product development decisions which is key to be acknowledged as a Voice of Customer (VOC) expert Lead CFPT and sub-team collaboration by: Guiding empowerment of these CFPTs to make key decisions Be internal advocate, product expert, and product evangelist: Driving all facets of product experience in new product launches across global markets, supporting customer, colleague, and company preparation efforts, and helping transfer materials and expertise to the commercial and medical teams ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS We empower our product teams to create value and solve hard problems in ways that our customers love, yet work for our business. Our product teams are cross-functional and durable, generally comprised of the Product Manager leading and partnering with key functions at Zoetis including Global Commercial (Marketing, Support, and Sales) & Medical, VMRD (Zoetis Research & Development), ZTD (Zoetis Tech & Digital), and GMS (Zoetis Global Manufacturing and Supply) teams along with partner OEM development (if applicable). RESOURCES MANAGED Financial Accountability Accountable for business viability of product including, but not limited to, revenue and costs to build, sell, and market your product, operating withing the laws of countries you sell in, holding up end in partnerships/agreements (if applicable) and fitting within the brand promise of the entire company's offerings. In addition, the product manager will lead development budget planning process across the organization for product(s) assigned. N/A; Individual contributor EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Experience: 5+ years in Product Management or product development role BA/BS degree in scientific discipline or business TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS Skills/Traits: Action oriented: "can do" and "does do" attitude; authentically engaged with people and situations with high energy and proactive problem-solving acumen PHYSICAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS This position could also require supporting vendor relationships and travel both domestically and internationally (up to 20%). The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $105,000 - $151,000. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the base pay target range for new hire salaries for the position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. This position is also eligible for short-term incentive compensation. This position is also eligible for long-term incentives.
