UC Riverside's Transportation & Parking Services is recruiting for an Automotive Technician, Fleet Services position. The full salary range for the Automotive Technician is $66,043.44 - $98,115.12 annually. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs.

Under the general direction of the Fleet Manager, the incumbent is responsible for the efficient and safe repair of vehicles assigned to UCR. This includes the inspection and repair of vehicles as well as the timely performance of scheduled maintenance. The incumbent will maintain a clean and safe shop and will report or repair any discrepancies. The incumbent will consult with the lead or other technicians as needed. Coordinates taking work off campus to outside vendors. Ensure compliance with all regulatory agencies such as the Department of Transportation (DOT) and Occupational Health and Safety (OSHA).

Required to hold valid driver's license, have a driving record that is in accordance with local policies/procedures, and/or enroll in the California Employer Pull Notice Program.

Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff.
