Now hiring for a Material Handler Location: Melrose Park, IL Pay Rate: $18.50 per hour Schedule Options: Monday - Friday 8 AM - 4:30 PM 9 AM - 5:30 PM 10 AM - 6:30 PM Must be available to work 12-hour shifts during the first 3 weeks of employment. Previous warehouse or material handling training is beneficial. Experience Requirements: Previous warehouse, shipping, receiving, order picking, or material handling experience is helpful but not required. Job Duties: Build boxes, shrink wrap products, and apply labels Pick and pack customer orders accurately Push and pull skids using a manual pallet jack Operate balers and compactors for recyclable and waste materials Load materials into baling and compacting equipment Assist with shipping, receiving, kitting, assembly, and packaging tasks Perform general housekeeping, trash removal, and warehouse maintenance Sort, stage, replenish, and prepare products for shipment Support loading and unloading of trailers and warehouse operations Physical Capabilities: Lift 50-75 lbs. occasionally Stand, bend, kneel, and climb ladders throughout the shift Work in hot, cold, dusty, and noisy warehouse environments Comfortable working around forklifts, trucks, and other warehouse equipment Ability to perform repetitive tasks and remain active throughout the workday Benefits Competitive Weekly Pay Comprehensive Benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage.
