The Internet Account Representative is responsible for promoting and selling TTI's products and services through various channels, including telephone, email, and digital platforms. They manage existing customer relationships, requests for quotes and action new business leads coming to TTI from the Internet and suppliers. This role involves collaborating with Product Management and Sales Management teams to enhance customer engagement and identify new sales opportunities. Success is measured by meeting defined sales objectives, performing all duties with a high ethical standard and exceeding all customer requirements.

Our Internet Account Representative Team:
- Promotes and sells the products and services offered by TTI by fostering strong customer relationships and customizing sales strategies to align with client needs and inquiries.
- Delivers competitive price and delivery quotations within the customer's specified timeline. Leverages available resources by collaborating with departmental and corporate product managers, as well as manufacturers, to ensure optimal pricing. The success of the Internet Account Representative is evaluated based on the ability to secure business at the highest gross profit margins.
- Efficiently processes customer orders by entering data into the sales system for quote generation and delivery scheduling. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, proofreading for accuracy, and adherence to quality standards. Timely order processing is critical, as delays may lead to inventory loss and extended lead times with factories. Performance is assessed based on customer on-time delivery rates and return merchandise authorization (RMA) metrics.
- Regularly reviews Power BI and TTI reports to monitor suspended orders, accounts or orders on hold, unresolved credit issues, and backlogs. Proactively identifies items that are available for shipment or at risk of missing TTI's promised delivery dates. Effectively communicate any order changes or delivery delays to the customer and appropriately actions these in a timely manner.
- Oversees the management of orders with varying payment methods, including net terms, credit card transactions, and wire transfers. Proactively addresses any payment-related issues to minimize delays and ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Handles the processing of orders for both international and domestic customers, ensuring adherence to all trade compliance processes. Utilizes screening tools to conduct due diligence on transactions, verifying customer information and product eligibility. Collaborates with TTI trade compliance team to address any potential issues, ensuring that all orders are processed efficiently while maintaining regulatory standards and minimizing risk.
- Enhances product knowledge by utilizing various resources, including product literature, factory representatives, product managers, sales managers, and new product trainings. This knowledge enables informed discussions regarding product options and effectively highlights TTI's strengths to customers.
- Engages in the TTI Total Quality process by adhering to established policies and procedures that promote an efficient sales cycle. Employs logical and systematic approaches aimed at reducing sales errors while maintaining the highest quality standards. Success in this area is measured by the volume of lines shipped per salesperson and the accuracy of on-time shipments, verified against error checks.
- Conducts thorough analyses of Internet processes and procedures, providing strategic recommendations to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness in lead follow-up initiatives.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- One to three years of customer service and/or sales experience preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
