Responsibilities Peraton is seeking a skilled Network Engineer / Cable Technician to support the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) enterprise infrastructure program. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for the physical installation, termination, and maintenance of structured cabling systems across DOE facilities, while also supporting broader network engineering operations. This position is ideal for a technically proficient professional who takes pride in clean, code-compliant installations and thrives in a mission-driven federal environment. Pull, route, dress, and terminate copper (twisted pair) and fiber optic cabling in accordance with applicable standards and site-specific requirements

Target Salary Range $66,000 - $106,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
