This role provides strategic leadership of legal services and coordination on compliance matters supporting designated Munich Re America corporate functions and reinsurance businesses and other designated enterprise legal functions. Acts as a senior legal advisor to executive leadership, ensuring legal support is delivered in a practical, business-oriented manner while aligning with regulatory obligations and enterprise objectives. The role has direct oversight responsibility for the Munich Re America Services, Inc. (MRAS) regional Enterprise Transactions, Privacy and Reinsurance functions and acts as the primary legal advisor to the MRAS Chief Financial Officer and their Financial and Management Reporting (FMR) organization. The role includes significant involvement in mergers and acquisitions transactions, investments and financial matters, designated entities' corporate and board governance and (re)insurance matters. In coordination with the Head of Compliance, North America, the role supports an effective governance and control environment for the businesses and functions it serves. Responsibilities:

The Company is open to considering candidates in Princeton, NJ. The salary range posted below applies to the Company's Princeton location. The base salary range anticipated for this position is $283,200 - $415,400 plus opportunity for company bonus based upon a percentage of eligible pay. In addition, the company makes available a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, 401k match, retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO). The salary estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for candidates hired in this position in Princeton, NJ.
