Job Description




As a Security Officer Dispatch Specialist in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Dispatch Professional supporting a dynamic government transit location. In this role, you will monitor communications, coordinate responses to security-related incidents, document activity, and help maintain situational awareness across assigned areas. You will serve as a key communication link for officers and site partners while delivering outstanding service. Pay Rate: $30.33 / Hour

What You'll Do:

    Provide customer service to employees, visitors, passengers, and/or the public while carrying out site-specific procedures, communication protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor radio, telephone, and/or computer-based dispatch systems to receive calls for service, relay information to field personnel, and support timely coordination of security-related responses.
  • Respond to incidents, service requests, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating updates to supervisors and/or public agency contacts.
  • Maintain accurate activity logs, incident records, and dispatch reports, helping to support accountability, situational awareness, and follow-up on security-related matters.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter when assigned, while also observing cameras, alarms, and access activity to help identify unusual conditions and support response efforts.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
