As a Security Officer Driver Patrol Duty in Cleveland, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic tech and media location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $16.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

    Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and other security-related policies at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify concerns, report conditions, and help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor entry points, visitor activity, and/or restricted areas in accordance with post instructions, and document incidents, maintenance concerns, and other security-related observations in a timely manner.
  • Support emergency response activities by following post orders, assisting with evacuations or access direction when appropriate, and coordinating with first responders and/or site representatives during incidents.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
