Position Summary
The HR Analyst II is responsible for producing key HR metrics and translating complex data into clear, compelling insights that enable leaders to make informed decisions, while supporting a data-driven approach to workforce planning and business strategy.
Responsibilities
Collect, validate, and maintain HR data (e.g., turnover, headcount, diversity, performance, engagement)
- Produce and maintain regular reporting on headcount, turnover, hiring funnel, DEIB, and engagement metrics
- Build and enhance dashboards (Power BI) to track key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Partner with HR functional teams to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and accessibility across HR systems
- Translate data into actionable insights through executive-ready presentations and narratives
- Identify and communicate trends, risks, and opportunities in workforce data that impact business outcomes
- Collaborate with HR Business Partners (HRBPs) and leaders to align insights with business strategy
- Conduct ad hoc analyses to support executive decision-making (e.g., workforce capacity, attrition risk, hiring ROI)
- Support the development of a data-driven HR culture by coaching HR partners on interpreting and using insights

Requirements
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Knowledge of HR metrics and workforce analytics (e.g., turnover, retention, engagement, DEIB)
- Understanding of HR systems, data structures, and data governance best practices
- Familiarity with employment lifecycle processes (recruitment, onboarding, performance, offboarding)
- Knowledge of data visualization principles and reporting best practices
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets
- Proficiency in data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
- Strong Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, formulas, data modeling) and/or SQL preferred
- Effective communication and data storytelling skills, including executive-level presentation development
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee data with discretion
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Data Analytics, Statistics, Finance, or a related field required
- 3-5 years of experience in HR analytics, people analytics, or business/data analysis
- Experience with HRIS platforms (e.g., UKG, Workday, SAP, Oracle)
- Relevant certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR, People Analytics, or data analytics certifications) are a plus

- May occasionally lift or move items up to 10-15 pounds (e.g., files, office materials)
