General Job Description Quick Hire Opportunity! IES Residential is seeking an experienced and motivated HVAC Supervisor to lead field operations, support skilled HVAC crews, and ensure high-quality project completion across residential and multi-family construction sites. What You'll Do Lead HVAC Field Operations Oversee HVAC installation, maintenance, and repair projects across multiple job sites. Coordinate work involving ductwork, furnaces, heat pumps, AC systems, and controls. Ensure projects stay on schedule and meet company quality standards. Supervise & Support Teams Manage HVAC technicians, apprentices, and subcontractors. Conduct daily team meetings and assign work based on priorities and technician skill levels. Train and mentor employees on company procedures, safety practices, and technical skills. Ensure Safety & Quality Enforce OSHA and company safety standards at all job sites. Conduct inspections, safety audits, and toolbox talks. Ensure all work complies with local, state, and federal codes. Communicate & Coordinate Work closely with project managers, clients, subcontractors, and inspectors. Resolve technical and scheduling issues in a professional and timely manner. Track labor hours, materials, and project progress while maintaining accurate documentation. Additional Responsibilities Perform additional duties as assigned. Minimum Education None Minimum Years of Experience 4-6 Specific Qualifications Qualifications Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent required. HVAC technical training or certification preferred. Minimum of 4+ years of HVAC installation/service experience required. At least 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience preferred. Residential or multi-family construction experience is a plus. Licenses & Requirements State HVAC license (where applicable). Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record. Must be able to successfully pass a background screening. Skills Strong understanding of HVAC systems, schematics, and installation best practices. Ability to read blueprints and construction specifications. Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Proficient with mobile workforce apps and basic Microsoft Office tools. Work Environment & Physical Requirements Work is performed at active construction job sites and may involve exposure to varying weather conditions, noise, and dust.
